Just out of curiousity, what kind of a magazine publishes articles written by people who know nothing about the subject they're discussing?
Your best bet is visiting Antivirus sites. Some will list what kind of language was used.
ILOVEYOU for example used VB script and was widely popular if that's the right word for such a spread.
Writing a virus isn't about being leet or crafty with your tool/language andymore. Nowadays, writing a virus is as easy as fooling a person to click on that blinking attachment. Quite the same tactic as catching fish in a pond.
If I sent an email stating "click on format.com and type Y, it's funny !!!1" to my address list, I would instantly wipe out half of it. Today, writing a virus is like shooting a sitting duck. No coding challenge, just social engineering.
That said, this is a C board. Obviously, C is the best language for anything
