You can set source/include/library directories under Tools->Options->Directories, but they will be global for all projects. Is there a way to add directories for a single project only?

Yes. Right-click on the project and go to Settings. Under the "C/C++" tab, you can go to the Preprocessor page where you can include header directories on a per-project basis. Under the "Link" tab, you can go to the Input page where you can include library directories and libraries.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein
