    was me.. anyways, not looking for the sad pity story.. the comment just bugged me, mostly because of the typical attitude behind such comments. shortly put, i've had too much experience with people and that attitude. i'm not saying you have it, as your latest post shows like you don't.. i guess just an insight to my reply above.. so i went off on a tangent, i tend to do that..

    and no worries, i don't see it as being snappy towards me.. i understand your ideals of not liking pity stories or not having to write about them.

    but, its off topic, so i'll leave it at that..

    Just outa curiosity, if i order the cd for the ide, do i gatta pay shipping lol? Because the cd is free.... dunno, id assume so, but microsoft has money to burn so who knows

    Probably. I think I remember xErath mentioning something along those lines. But I just downloaded everything by the "manual" instructions (and the platform SDK), so I don't have to rely on their auto-download-installer if I ever want to reinstall it.. only try that if you have highspeed though

    Microsoft is not the USPS. So why would shipping be free? Also, it's hardly good business practice to "burn money".
