    Got any tutorials or programs?? Send them to my web site!

    Hi, I am currently working on a web site designed to allow people to put any type of guide, tutorial, or files they want on it. I am really interested in including a section for C files and programming tutorials. So if you have any programs, source code, or guides you would like published on my site, please send them to:

    [email protected]..

    Please keep all programs and tutorials at the smallest size possible. I will accept text or html files. If you have multiple files to send (e.g pictures), please put them into a .zip file.

    Thank You Very Much!

    You mean like a wiki? This may be better at the Projects and Recruitments Board.

    i've always thought how nice it would be if someone would provide a site that is thoroughly comprehensive in subject matter, error trapping, code examples, etc. rather than the snippets you may find here and there - most of it usually not that stellar. maybe some day...

    You may teach a person from now until doom's day, but that person will only know what he learns himself.

    if you already know c or c++ then why don't you make a nice tutorial yourself. If you understand it, its not that hard. just find a decent tuorial(even an out of date one) and build yours around that sequence. also, you might want to add whatever is missed out

    I think the problem with most tutorials is that they are written by people that don't necessarily know how to teach. Just because you are an expert in a field doesn't mean you are a whiz at explaining it to others. I don't know how many times I got lost because the person went right over my head. either too advanced or too simple. I looked up some information on technical writing and how to write for a specific audience but you can't please everyone. If you make it too simple then people that are advanced will gloss over it perphaps missing a good tidbit that is buried in there somewhere. If its too complicated well then you loose all the newbies while the expeirienced people can speak the language fluently and comprehend it fine. Of course you can always write two sections one advanced and one novice i believe that is how they do it maybe include a hotlink to advanced topics or some such. anyway its late and I am rambling. too hopped up on caffine and I am not experienced enough to write any tutorials although I do have way too much time on my hands lol. anyway...

    For people who are god at making tutorials. I know that Dev-C++ has a good "html Exporter" built in. Good stuff
    What is C++?
