    I know you can load an image on win32, but, can you load an image in DOS?, if you can, tell me the code

    In this day and age it is a good idea to specify whether you are actually using DOS as the underlying operating system or simply the Windows command prompt. The code given will work with the former, but probably not with the latter.

    There is a difference between loading an image and displaying an image.

    That is true, thank you for the correction. Loading an image into memory requires intimate knowledge of the image format. Text on file formats can be found at www.wotsit.org.
