    lol. I know the feeling! C++ to VB is just brutal. I havn't used it since I learned C.

    even VB's arrays start at zero... at least they do in VB.NET

    they do, but its easy to make them start from one, so that what i always did! A bad habit is what that was...

    When you place that at the start of a VB module, it makes all arrays zero-based. At least that's what happened in VB 6.0.
