Personally, I find C++ simpler. I think the I/O is cleaner and more functional. Also, I think references are much simpler than pointers all over the place. I'm a big fan of OOP, too.

C++ makes some things easier but there's so much to learn. And I still see a lot of pointers all over the place
LOL right now I don't have any intention of going there. I am investing a lot of time and concentration in learning this C++ monstrosity so I might as well use it for a while. :dWait till you get to JAVA hope you don't have hair.

Once you get used to Object Oriented Programming, you wil appreciate its simplicity.
Java is much simpler than C++.
