    IDE for C++

    Anyone know of a good free IDE I can use? Preferably one thats not tied to a particular compiler.

    What os do you use? If you use Linux or Unix like os, Anjuta is a good IDE and you can make Anjuta so that Anjuta use Intel C++ compiler than GNU C++ compiler.

    I am not familiar with Windows.

    I have linux installed but I don't do any linux coding but I think I'll check out Anjuta anyway. I was looking for an IDE for windows but I think I've found something. I have the introductory version of visual c++ and the visual c++ toolkit so I think I'll just use that IDE with the compiler from the toolkit
