    USB driver...

i really need some of your help on this... it's an open source (GNU Public License) USB driver for an X-Box controller... a friend asked me to fix it but this stuff is beyond me... he says the left trigger (LTrig), right trigger (RTrig), and the two joysticks (LStick and RStick) aren't working... he says that it installed and everything, but those buttons don't work... it's quite a bit of code to go through...

I wasn't sure wether this went in windows/gaming/c++, so i just picked one...

You really need to find the original author / project coordinator / mailing list which supports this package. Try the readme.txt file.
    They're most likely to know
    - how it works
    - how it is supposed to work
    - what the likely fix is
    - how to test it
    - have the hardware to test it
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
I support http://www.ukip.org/ as the first necessary step to a free Europe.

I did check the documentation and the FAQ, but the only help i got from the FAQ was this:
    Q. Should I email you if I have a problem?
    A. Only after you read ALL of these questions and even then you'll probably get no response.

    Q. Can you help me make it work?
    A. No.

    Q. Do you plan to write drivers for more XBOX devices?
    A. No.

    Q. Why are you such a dick?
    A. People expect something for nothing and then get upset when it isn't tailored EXACTLY to their needs. I am a SINGLE PERSON and by no means a full time developer. I just get tired with people and the questions they ask. This page is an attempt to stop that behavior so it reads very condescendingly.
and the text readme file didn't help either... all I got from that was which file was responsible for the physical controller input...
