How would I go about finding out the curvatrue of a hill given it's height and width. Does anybody know?

If height and width were the same, then would this be a semi-circle?

If they are different, then you have an ellipse

In any event, the tangents at the end points are vertical, so it sounds like one scary ride to me
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

if you give us more information about your design, we can tell you if it is plausible and that the riders wouldn't experience inappropriate [read: deadly] amounts of g's... that, plus it'd be interesting...
