Iím currently looking for a dissertation project to undertake for my final year. I would like it to be technically challenging, but do able! I would like to integrate both c/c++ and assembler modules into the application project. The final program would most likely be a win32 application which would be useful. I have been very interested in compression which would involve the development of some quite complex data structures. I have been interested in Huffman encoding, but Iím not fully aware if it is too over complex for the dissertation or vice versa. Would people be able to give their opinions on this matter, and possibly suggest alternatives which would merit such a project. I will be using Borland Builder for the development environment, and the os will be post 95.
