I don't want to start a ford or chevy argument here just get a little better handle on the differences between all of these packages.
I stumbled into C++ and purchased a Borland C++ builder 5 package it seems OK to me.
is there a difference as far as header files, compile/debug handling, portability, ease of use, ANSI compliance, ... from one to another.
i also plan on spending some time on th linux partion i have loaded. are any of the big name packages better at talking GNU C++ than the others.
So many choices, so little info.
