Thread: loading Bitmaps

Can someone plz drop some source on how to do this also plz do not tell me to go to the faq and plz do not give me a link to a site that tells u how to do this cause I probably read em all and I have the same problem with all of them "Where do I start" all they do is explain to u what this is what that is but they dont tell u what files u need to include to make it work also the code is all over the place which leaves u with no idea where to put it I would like to learn myself I really would but I seem to be getting nowhere so could some 1 plz somehow if u can be bothered show me hwo to do this and explain everything that is happening or else point me somewhere where I can learn how to do this

It depends on what os/complier/graphics library you're using.

Dev (although I wanted to set up bordland but last time I tryed I couldnt get it to work) and os? I dunno what the hell that means wether it means am I using windows(yes I am) or am I program a windows app(could be) graphics library? now were talking thats what I need I dunno yet though u might be able to help me out there mate and then maybe get me starte dif thats ok
