Hello. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was out for a while and just got the chance to check back. My program is actually really simple. The animation I just did by clearing the screen and redisplaying. I'm kind of new myself, so thats the best I was able to do. I'll post my code.
My AIM is Luckygold5, so you can contact me if you need to.
Note: Please do not use this for your homework.
Custom header file needed to run game. I believe it was created by Peter-H. Thanks to him for his wonderful work.
thanks for your code i didn't know the function
sleep(500)
if x == y , y == x
The first text game I've ever enjoyed! Well done. The only problem is keeping everyone at work from knowing I'm playing it because of the beeps....
Hehe. Thanks. Guess I'm going to have to add a beeping option into the game as well... hehe.
Hi guys, I created a new thread with the new version. Please come check it out! Thank you all for you suggestions and in making this new version possible!

I'm not really sure about the best method of learning. I think the best way is to read about it from start to end, and experiment. Another good way is to read another persons code. You get a better sense of logic and learn many new syntaxes. Remember that if you don't understand something, the best thing to do is to find out about it. It will become useful to you some time in your programming career.
I have programmed for about 6 months. For the first two months, I basically read from books. I didn't program too much and just tried to learn basic logic and syntax. Then I started with basic program, first "Hello World", then I progressed to programs that involved looping, data input (text from user), and what not. Currently, I'm learning about pointers and classes.
I spent about 1 week programming the game. Another week to debug, and about another week to improve, organize, and complete the game.
albert is ok, he doesn't need to be feeded
