    hmmm, guess i should have read the criteria before posting. By your criteria i would qualify advanced programming

    Maybe your criteria weren't the best choice. Professional programmers may be pretty advanced, just not in graphics, because graphics is actually a very small part of programming except in games. Have you ever seen Word or Excel ? Pretty dull graphics, but still professional programs. Databases ? Never seen a DB access software with DX effects *g* Some people are very advanced. Few of them would consider themselves advanced in graphics because they never needed it. However, they would probably have the knowledge to learn it in less time it takes a beginner to get to intermediate.

    Also writing an Operating System doesn't really have to do
    much with gfx, like DOS for instance, you call that Advanced gfx?
