Vector<string> warnings

This is a discussion on Vector<string> warnings within the C++ Programming forums, part of the General Programming Boards category; trying to create a vector<string> but when i compile i get this weird crap... what is it trying to tell ...

    Vector<string> warnings

    trying to create a vector<string> but when i compile i get this weird crap... what is it trying to tell me? and how do i make it go away? is it anything to worry about?
    Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0
    only happens with vector of type string.. just curious what it is.. any ideas?

    I just disable the warning with a pragma message. I believe microsoft acknowledged it as a bug with STL code because they didn't give a large enough string for variable type names or something. Once you disable this warning you should not see it again.
