    (for any "semi-n00bs")

I have completed two games so far. Tic tac toe, and a game called dungeon of doom. I think they are both available for download, just go to search and put in my user name to get an idea of where I am.

I'm looking for someone who visits this board regularly, and about the same level I am. I want to make a program together, but not how you'd think. We would both decide on a game or whatever to make, and we do it on our own. Then we can come back here regularly and post our progress, discuss methods used, post source, etc. I think this would be a more fun and useful way to learn. Hmm....anybody?

Oh, and I'm talking console unless someone can convince me that after seeing my last two programs I should start to learn an API. (doubt it lol).

Learning api's isnt easy but if you've completed whole games I'm sure you're C++ skills will be able to cope. And sometimes its easier than you think, OpenGL is really easy to start with considering its all about 3d graphics. I always think 'windowing' api's seem hardest to learn, eg MFC, Qt, Win32, etc.
Couldn't think of anything interesting, cool or funny - sorry.
