    Arrow user error... sorry

    I didn't know about the hidden menu under the properties section of the project handler... All I had to do was to make the option for the implication of MFC to "Use MFC in a Static Library".

    Once again, sorry to all who took the time to look, and let this be a warning to potential posters in the future : take the time (be it 15 minutes, or 6 hours (in my case)) to look over your problem and take into logical consideration what you have to overcome and take reasonable steps to figure out whatever you're up against.

    oh no...

    BTW: this was in response to the post about "MFC in .NET"... I hit the wrong button (again)... just ignore my idiocy and continue on with your coding
