Hide Cursor

How do I hide the cursor ?

For exampe, I will show a list of 4 options on the screen

1. Play
2. Instructions
3. About
4. Exit

I want to hide the cursor.

Also, as soon as the user presses '1' .. the code should
immediately start working without "Enter"

I can't help with the hide cursor thing. Have you tried a search? As for the other thing, that's been posted bazillions of times and I guarentee you that you'll find what you're looking for (Hint: As a keyword for searching, try "getch").
