    Actually he bought it from a Seattle based company for 50000. MS did write windows but stole the idea from apple that stole it from xerox. But to call BG a masterprogramer would be wrong. I think his role as a programer is minor in MS history

    Apparently Bill Gates could succeed at anything he puts his mind to. He is a real life superman. He didn't write Windows and that's why Windows sucks. Bill Gates wrote DOS and that was the best program ever written.

    There are many Master programmers, including me... ha ha ha

    but there can never be any PERFECT or ABSOLUTE PROGRAMMER just like there can never be a Perfect Heat Engine (2nd Law of Thermodynamics - Kelvin's Statement)

    There are countless Master Programmers around, a couple on this board. However, master programmers aren't perfect, nothing is. They are just damn good. Every profession has their masters.
