    Is there any specific way to make a full dos program(black background, white text and all) using borland c++? And if so how?

    Yes,

    Select Application.exe

    then leave it Windows as the Platform

    Change GUI to Console

    Then click on advanced and uncheck .def and .rc
    What is C++?

    Where can I get that version of Borland?
    tudehopet uses Borland Compiler 5.5
    and Visual C++ 6.

    Considering you have version 5.5 I don't think you'd want to go back to version 4.52. I dunno, but maybe you weren't talking to me.

    well a version of borland which has a GUI, Borland 5.5 doesn't have that.
    tudehopet uses Borland Compiler 5.5
    and Visual C++ 6.
