I've (and a lot of other people also) have been getting vary annoyed with people not using the [ code] and [ /code] tags (without the space). It's not that hard to do. Here's an example:
Code Without The Tags:
#include <iostream>
int main()
{
printf("Codes Without Tags Can Get Messy!");
return 0;
}
Now, here's the same piece of code WITH the code tag:
Now, it may not look like much right now, and your probably saying something like "Man, that's easy to read!". Yes, you are right, but if/when someone posts long code, it can get very annoying. You don't even have to take your hand off of the keyboard to insert the tag(s) you wish to use in your post. Just type a "[" then the tag name like code, php, or whatever, and then a "]" (take out the quotes though). Here's what the code example looks like (with spaces to show the tage name and stuff):Code:#include <iostream> int main() { printf("Now This Is More Like It!"); return 0; }
[ code]
#include <iostream>
int main()
{
printf("Now This Is More Like It!");
return 0;
}
[/ code]
Note that I put spaces there. Like I already said, I used the spaces to show a clean way of doing the code tag. But when you use the tags, don't put a space. I hope people have learned from this. If you don't want to keep your hands on the keyboard, then use the mouse (the F.B.I. isn't going to go to your house for not using the keyboard to type in a tag).
Just remember to use tags, and don't use the famous no-tag-no-one-will-care method....because no one (or hardly anyone) will want to answer a question on how to fix something or stuff like that if the poster didn't use the code tags.
