AcmeSofties a site dedicated to C C++ programming is hosting a weekly programming contest which is open monday thru friday.The questions are such that they can be done within 30 minutes but what matters is the quality of the code.

The only serious programming competiton that I can think of right now where you can win something good (Geforce4 Ti4600) is at http://nehe.gamedev.net/ But it ends in a few days.
