    Question fprintf question

Hello my name is R. Mckay, I have a question regarding a function that I used until windows was upgraded and my work started using USB ports instead of the usually LPT 1 and 2 ports also they have made it so that I no longer have my own printer I must use a network printer. As of now I have to save the file which I want to print change the format to a Unix style which takes a while because the print outs are rather large. Anyway, then I can print it from there. My question is, is there a better function or is there a way to use the fprintf in a way that I don't know about, so that I can use the USB port over a network. Any feed back would truly be appreciated.
P.S My programs are fairly simple accounting programs if you need a copy to help me I send ya a copy.
