    try upcoming:
    >Sams Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days 4th Edition
    by: Jesse Liberty.

    Use:
    >C++: The Complete Reference, Third Edition

    And more advanced in the subject later on, try:
    >STL Tutorial and Reference Guide, Second Edition: C++ Programming with the Standard Template Library (Boston, MA: Addison-Wesley, 2001, ISBN 0-201-37923-6).
