Warning to those running executables posted to the board

I hope you all at least scan everything for viruses first. However, virus scanners won't catch newly written viruses, so beware of what you run on your computer.

If you're trying out someones prog/game/whatever, make sure he includes the source too.

Yeah that would be the reason why we didnt download it or anyone else's. This forum is a code forum not an execuatable forum.

You can have a perfectly normal program that isn't a virus that will wreak more havoc than a virus itself...

Delete a few windows files, and your OS is screwed.

So, yeah... don't run executables unless they are from a trustworthy source.

I totally disagree. I do not want to post my source code until I am finished my game. No one would waste their time searching for this exact forum, posting their "virus", and trying to get way with it. I mean, the IP addresses are logged. I think everyone here is trustworthy (except for that dr_mysterious, I still wonder about him )

If you don't think it is trustworthy, then don't download it. And you don't need to insult me for my different opinion And an iceberg could be a profitable investment. You could harvest it for water and sell it to starving countries. And no one likes Arizona
