    suggest a powerfull c++ IDE that can be used in windows 7 OS

    hi !! i m havin a windows 7 platform and as you know turbo c is of no use in windows 7 and hence suggest me some C++ IDE s that can be used in windows 7 and importantly make those IDE s work properly !!

    Try Code::Blocks and Microsoft Visual Studio, then see which you prefer.

    Netbeans is pretty good too, but requires java, and in my experience is pretty slow. other than those two things it's pretty feature-rich, and very useful. you may also consider eclipse. it is also a very mature, and well done IDE for many platforms.
