I am a student currently with a "d" in cprogramming ..my instructor is not available to help me and no tutor as well....i don't really understand cprogramming and i am trying to make up work blindly...does anyone kno a code that will help me to read out...

If you don't care enough about your grades to start developing skills before you know that you have a 'D' why should we get involved?
Anyway, that isn't the way it works here. You post your code, your problems, and ask a few questions and we help.
Occasionally some "helpful" newbie will post code, but I wouldn't count on it if I were you. Show us that you are trying and you'll find help.

i do care about my grade and i have been trying thank you very much! my instructor is needless to say not very helpful.. and i did not ask for the answer i asked for help....to understand the program better so i can try to do it on my own..i sit at the computer every chance i get on my days off..i just get so confused and its frustrating to stare at the same problem with no assistance and the book is of no help on this problem.sorry for asking for help....people can be so rude!

thank you very much but i actually got it before i checked responses. a fellow student helped me out! thank God she came to campus on her day off too if i try askin for help in class he deducts points off my paper and the person(s) that try to help out! which i think is dumb how am i supposed to get the help i need if he don't help.he just assumes we know it all

Try to understand that "help" does not mean spoon-feeding complete answers on a plate without the OP showing some effort. People learn by trying, getting stuck and gaining understanding about what it going on. Just giving an answer does no one any favours in the long term.

Congratulations, you got another free pass for another week without learning anything. Long term, you haven't solved anything, so your 'd' is assured.
If you really want to earn the grade you deserve, then ignore the free code you got and try to solve the problem yourself.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
It's your business how much effort you invest in learning about something. Of course, it doesn't work in long way and not benefit for you just keep asking without thinking, but sometimes you have to see complete solutions for a problem just to see that programming is not a devil trick.
Please, exuse me Salem, that I gave a total clue to cprgmingstudent in a selfish way, but I'm also just a novice in c++ world, and a bit exhibitionist. It is very hard for a beginner to find out problems which not so complex and can give some success as well. That's why I attend this side mostly. It takes jus a half an hour for me to code this task and it made me very glad, so I was so exited that I wanted to share it in any way. I didn't care about teaching methods.
Nevertheless, there is a homework policy in this forum. And as most policies and laws in this world it cannot take into account every possible situation. Yes, there are situations when giving the answer will actually help, but most of the times as we can see in this forums, people just want a quick answer without trying. Thus, there is a policy not to just give answers.
The more people enter the digital world the more these policies are important so we should respect them.
You can distinguish between a complete answer and providing a skeleton or an answer with some missing parts just to make sure they will put some effort and at least study the code. Some people even post whole high-quality codes as a template scheme but not tweaked to solve entirely the question. So you can follow the same logic, provide a skeleton, a scheme or an incomplete code rather than something somebody can copy and paste.
I agree with The Comedian guy (c_ntua). There is a latin proverb:
"Non scholae sed vitae discimus" It means "We don't learn for school but for life".
If your instructor isn't helpful, maybe you could try learning c++ yourself, without his help. There is a list of good books in a sticky.

we have an intern in my office who is taking a data structures and algorithms class right now (in C++), and his professor basically refuses to provide any help. he just tells his students "you'll figure something out." this week he gave the intern in question a 22 out of 60 on an assignment, and then used his homework as an example for the class of the right way to do it. in my opinion, that professor needs to be sacked, but that's a little off topic
