    Feedback: compiling games cross platform

    Hi,
I am working with a few guys on a project intended to help indie game developers build modularly and distribute games cross platform.

We've got a basic prototype finished that allows devs to attach licenses modules, and can build c++ programs cross platform (mac, windows, linux for now with android support coming)

I'm looking for some feedback on our concept and code. It is all c++ and runs through terminal right now, so it looks pretty rough. If you are interested in taking a look at the code you can send me an e-mail ( clayton at worldki dot com). You can find some documentation on our wiki [link=http://worldki.com/wiki/][/link]

We would also love feedback on our website and the overall concept, so even if you aren't a c++ developer your input is welcome.
    Thanks for your help!
    ~Clayton

Sounds like a fairly interesting project. I'd like to offer up my services in the form of testing environments, Linux, Windows 7 and android. Main system is linux for programming currently, and can easily put together an environment to test anything you want trying out, wont mind breaking the system either, can easily recompile my nix environment.

Nice idea, seems like a lot of work. But why limit it to games development?

I'm sure a large subset of functionality could apply elsewhere? Much like what glib is (not glibc).

Awesome, thanks for the interest! If you PM me with your e-mail or e-mail me at clayton at worldki dot com I can send you an invite and a build. There are instructions on the wiki for how to get it running on each platform.

@ avidgamer linux is great, as that build is the most mature at the moment anyway.

@ zac - Glib is a good comparison, the low level cross platform library is a big component of what we do.

You both sound like you'd be great critics/testers and we'd love to have you involved.
