    File Transfer?

    I don't know if file transfer would be the right wording for what I want to do, but It should be somewhat similar to that. What I want to do is create a program that renames two files that are stored on a user's computer. I would also want another program to be able to initiate this process, and the program should be able to run by itself aswell. Any help on how i should start this would be very welcome! thanks.

    All modern Operating Systems should have a rename program; you can call it using system().

    Code:
    system("rename foo foo2");

    Why do you want to do this?

    Actually, you might as well use std::rename from <cstdio>.
