    4.5 is released under the LGPL as well, so you can use it in commercial software for free, as long as you comply with the terms of using an LGPL library.
    In practice, the way I understand the license, this means linking dynamically against Qt and not adding any debugger killer to your app.

    It does not, as should have been stated.
    But there is the Professional Edition that is free to students (and Team System for MSDNAA).
