winzip arguments

    winzip arguments

    Does anyone outhere know how to compress a file from within the application that you are running. Decompress as well. Does anyone know if this is even possible with Winzip. Any help is appreciated....

    Look for a library called zLib. Might do what you have in mind.

    what does zLib do

    I found a zLib.dll in my system which is in the folder
    ../adaptec/ez cd creator/


    I found no help associated with zlib ...

    Can you tell me what zlib does?

    search the net... there should he source for zLib and hoew to use it.. try google it...

    Wink winzip command line....yeah!!!

    I found something.... You know where???


    ....

    in the help files....

    a link to http://www.winzip.com/faq.htm

    which had a link to...

    http://www.winzip.com/xcmdline.htm

    It has everything that I need ... Now I can go and compress and decompress files from within my program.
