    hi guys,
    can anyone give me certain ideas on how i can improve my c,c++ programming skills.

    Read books about programming and object oriented design. Try the book "Beautiful Code" at
    Beautiful Code | O'Reilly Media . That book will mention other books to follow up on.

    Write programs. Try to answer questions on this board.

    Write programs.
    Yes - nothing teaches you better than doing it. Think up / find practice problems and solve them.

    and the course web site at

    Plenty of information and practice problems there.
