    Read about the homework policy.
    C + C++ Compiler: MinGW port of GCC
    Version Control System: Bazaar

    Make an attempt to do your own homework.

    You're no where near the first person to ever try the "my homework as a quiz" ploy.
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

    So why the need for speed?

    Just use google (or your other favourite search engine) and read up on the subject.

    If you learned the language, you wouldn't need to ask us to make the code work for you.
    Learn the language and make your own attempt and ask for help about specific problems.

    I spent a few hours of time and drank like three pots of coffee but I think I have developed the ultimate 8-puzzle problem which has bar-none the fastest solve time of any algorithm I have studied yet. Behold!

    Code:
    printf("012\n345\n67_");
    wipe on -
    A slap on the hand is better than a slap on the face. A tragic lesson learned far too late in life.
    - wipe off
