So what do you want from us?

Maybe if you described what you've managed to find out already, what you've tried (and failed), or other useful information like your OS/Compiler, we might get somewhere.

But to dribble just a few keyworks from the whole problem and slapping a ? at the end of it does not make for a meaningful question which can reasonably be answered.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Programmably from within ActiveScript? Or from an X/Windows app? Or are you just trying to accomplish a screen capture?

If the first: remember that this is a C/C++ web-site, and this question is specifically a C++ thread. I will answer only if this is in fact the question.

If the second: Which operating system are you using? x-server on Linux with GTK or something? Or a Windows flavor? Perhaps Mac OSX?

If the third: The print screen key, perhaps. Or you can use whatever screen capture software your computer currently has installed.

Visual C++ 2005, ActiveX. I need to capture frames of flash and save to png with transparency and semitransparency.
