    Ha. I didn't mean to imply that it's a free for all. They just get tired of questions that are off-topic or covered in the FAQ. Most of the topics on this forum would be nipped in the bud after one reply with "Off-topic". If the OP decides to challenge that, it can get ugly.

    Anyway, you could do worse than simply filtering James Kanze's posts and reading them for a day or ten. You'll also see posts from guys like Andrew Koenig occasionally, and once in a blue moon, Dr. Stroustrup himself chimes in. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people that post there.
