    Question the enter key

    I am trying to write a program that needs to use the enter key as a command to go through to the next phase of the program.
    My program shows one instance of something on the screen.
    When I press the enter key, I want it to show the next instance.
    Can someone tell me how to do this?

    Code:
    cout << "Press <ENTER> to continue . . . ";
    cin.get();
    PS: not a solution, just a HINT for you!
