Unlikely. If I stray from C/C++ then I'll probably get requests for Java contests, Perl contests, Python contests, etc...

I agree! Its a great language to program win apps. No need to deal with messages or that crap!
I suppose a C# contest would be kind've odd though...
We could always have a Windows Form control contest.
This is a C programming board, right? That (should) include ALL flavours of C, which C# is certainly a member of. C# is definitely capabale of far more than winform applications, that's just the unfortunate bias that a lot of people have and perpetuate around the 'net.
C# is NOT a member of C or C++. C# is its own language, which has absolutely nothing to do with C. What you're saying is "Since Java is syntaicly similar to C++, it must be C."
Honestly, I don't see why there is even a C# forum on this site at all. If there isn't a Java forum, why on earth is there a C# forum? Oh, I get it, because the name has a C in it. Absurd. Pascal has a C in it, you don't see a forum for it here.
That's one thing that has bugged me ever since the forum showed up here. C# has nothing to do with C. If you say it does, then I argue that Java has as much, if not more to do with C than C# does. But again, there's no forum for it here.
For that matter, there should be a Basic forum too. Or why not LPC? It's more C based than C# should ever hope to be.

If you don't feel that C has any right to be part of the "C family", then it shouldn't be on these forums. But since it is, then I think that it has a right to its own share of the contests.
IIRC the reason for the C# board is because TK whined enough
I'd love a C# contest. We could even allow C++ programmers to enter (they could make DLL's and then we could call the unmanaged functions from them, though they'd be a bit faster).
