Im looking for a book that very well explains the concepts of mathematics in Graphics. Stuff like matrices, vectors, and how they are used in graphics. Also things like, ray-casting and ray-tracing, or similar stuff. The reason Im asking is because there are many books out there but perhaps someone knows of a really good one, maybe an old one that is already out of print or anything.
There are probably two dozen on Amazon.com, at the very least.
Bubba recomended me this book
which I bought and think is great. Though because of school I haven't been able to focus pass the advanced stuff, but what I got out of it is interesting.
It is one of the two I have, and it's certainly easier to read, if (slightly) less complete, than this one:
Yes i am interested in mathematics as they apply to games.
I am also interested in game physics.
does anyone have any good books on these subjects?
