Does anyone know a way to separate .text (code) and .rodata (read only data/constants) in ROM. I need the them to go to 2 different starting locations.
Currently when I compile, they are placed one right after the other.

Well that would depend on the very specific details of your particular linker.
But generally speaking, it's possible to do that - maybe read the manual some more.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
