    Can anybody tell me how to change a files name

    Could you explain a little more?
    Do you want to write a program in C that renames files on disk?
    What OS?

    I think rename will do the trick.
    Teacher: "You connect with Internet Explorer, but what is your browser? You know, Yahoo, Webcrawler...?" It's great to see the educational system moving in the right direction
