You'll need to download cygwin. Go to www.cygwin.com. Windows also has the features you mention and are easy to use.
Cygwin is nice. You could also grab the vmware player, an appliance, and do something fun like run a *nix of your choice under Windows.

I am unable to download it from the site. since it uses it's own mechanism to download pacakges and my internet is not allowing me to stay online for more than an hour ...can you give me a link where i can grab it (complete) using a download manager ... please
