    What next?

    Hi everyone im new and i have a quick question on my quest for c knowledge.

    I have read a few books on the language including K&R's ANSI c programming book. But i dont know what to do now? I would like to get into graphical development eventually but dont really know which way i have to go to get there? Any help would be apreciated.

    I'm also new here, but I think it would be the best to start with C++ to get into it and then expand to VC++.

    Are you on a windows platform? If yes then a good next step would be to learn about the win32 API and how to create a GUI application. After that learn a graphics library like Directx or OpenGL.
    For learning windows I can recomend Programming windows by Charles Petzold or there are a lot of tutorials out there on the net.
