    DevC++ vs Borland C++ builder

    Who is better from free compilers DevC++ or free Borland C++ builder?
    Also who is better with upgrading libraries. Does free Borland have good upgrade libraries like DevC++?
    Who is Faster.
    And all what can help to decide what to use of free compilers!

    Your best bet is to try them both and come up with your own opinion. They're both good compilers, so which you choose will depend on other factors, such as what you're using them for.

    Echo Prelude.

    But my own personal opinion is that Dev-C++ is a better choice. Borland is not well known for following standards as well as they should, and bloodshed is quite good in that respect. And with the exception of Borland 3.0 for DOS (which is outdated so it doesn't count, anyway), Dev-C++ has a much nicer interface than any I have seen from Borland.
