    easy help

I have been working with c for about a year.
and I have a slight problem it seem that the HP and SUN enviroments are a lot more forgiving than say Motrola's 68040
so what I need is maybe a web page or book that I can get my hands on that explains pointers as strict as possible and goes through everything from novice to advanced. If some of you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Well, the Ansi C book of Kernighan and Ritchie is a small
    bible for every c programmer.
Working in c on HP or Sun or AIX (IBM) generates different
results, so just copying programs and compile isn't sufficient,
you have to test it completely !

Make sure all your pointers are initialised to NULL when you declare them - then all systems should blow up with equal probablility.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
I support http://www.ukip.org/ as the first necessary step to a free Europe.
