    Hi

sorry for pushing this old thread, but i have an question to watcom.

16bit and 32bit code to pe and flat binary formats.
I need flat 16bit format, no .com, no .lib. I searched the linker options but found nothing apropiate (link and wlink - wlink is ehm... interesting )

com files with base adress 0 dont work because they contain initialization code, so a simple com without any code but return is about 1kb (in binary should be only some bytes).

    thx

Mmm, and did you read the rules?
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

looks like watcom is good. But only with jloc.

i compiled with wcc -0 -d0 -z -ze -zl -zls -od and jloc had no problems to link it (without these options the watcom compiler uses functions of the standart libraries which is really bad).
