    help with compiling

    Im trying to compile a program that is using switch statements and I get this warning concerning about 20lines of my program.
    "warning: multi-line string literals are depricated" if anyone could tell me what this means and/or how to fix it, the help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks

    You have

    Code:
    printf( "hello
    world" );
    Change it to say
    Code:
    printf( "hello\n"
            "world" );
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
