    -g -DDEBUG

    Hi,

    I have been using -DDEBUG successfully for a couple of weeks now with commands like this

    $ cc -g -DDEBUG copy_string.c -o copy_string
    $ copy_string
    In main() args = 1
    $

    but I am having difficulties with a makefile implementation

    Code:
    LDFLAGS+= -L$(ORACLE_HOME)/precomp/lib
    LDFLAGS+= -L$(ORACLE_HOME)/lib

    include ../include.mk

    export INCLUDE_FLAG=-I$(CREATE_LIBRARY_DIR) -I$(COMMON_DIR)

    OBJS=\
            cirp_process.o

    COMMON=\
            ../common/db_connect.o \
            ../common/db_customer_control.o \
            ../common/date_func.o \
            ../common/error_func.o \
            ../common/db_get_seq_no.o \
            ../common/file_seq_no.o \
            ../common/input_file_name.o

    cirp_process: $(OBJS)
            $(CC) -g -DDEBUG -o cirp_process $(OBJS) \
                    $(COMMON) \
                    $(LDFLAGS) \
                    `cat /product/oracle/oracle815/lib/sysliblist` \
                    -lclntsh \
                    -R/product/oracle/oracle815/lib -laio -lm -lthread

    I have tried surrounding the command in quotes and putting it in a different location, but no success so far,

    tia,
