question

i've put 2 threads in this forum but nobody replies to it, am i doing something wrong or does nobody knows the answer either

Remember that people don't have to answer( or even look at) your threads. I doubt that when you registered, it said that you have to answer someone elses thread or you have to post ten times a day.

If nobody can help, tough, you'll have to be patient and wait to see if someone can help.

This board is intended for specific questions related to C. I just read your serial port question, and it shows no attempt at figuring it out for yourself, or asking a C question. If you want to ask a more general question you might be able to try the Linux Programming section of this forum. But I would not expect much more of a reaction there. You have to realize the number of questions that get answered here, and the number of knowledgable people there are to answer them. One does not have time to give you a course on threads, serial programming, and what not on this forum.
