    using a C compiler

    I realize this is a dumb question, but I am a newbie. I downloaded borland"s C++ builder compiler and now I am at a loss as to how and where to install it. I am going to learn C and don't know how to use the compiler. Can anyone give me some URLs that can give me some instructions for the above?
    Thanks,

    Hi, you could try the borland site url below...

    http://community.borland.com/article...,21205,00.html

    or follow the links on the home page to DevC++, which I reacon is easier to use for a newbie, and the one I first mastered. url below...

    good luck
    hoping to be certified (programming in c)
